Job Description

Key Responsibilities of Salesperson

  • Identify, approach, and build relationships with potential clients through cold calls, networking, and referrals.
  • Understand customer needs and present suitable products/services to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Maintain strong client relationships for repeat business and long-term growth.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions in CRM.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Good understanding of sales process, CRM tools, and MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with fieldwork/target-based roles.
  • Knowledge of the industry (FMCG / Import-Export / [insert your sector]) will be an added advantage.


Experience Required

  • 1–3 years of proven experience

     in sales, business development, or client acquisition (Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in 

    B2B / B2C sales, field sales, or channel sales

     will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with 

    CRM tools, lead generation, and pipeline management

    .
  • Exposure to [insert your industry: e.g., FMCG, Import-Export, Consumer Goods] is an added advantage.
  • Ability to handle negotiations and close deals independently.
