The company focuses on developing and publishing educational books for students from pre-primary to senior secondary levels across various subjects. Known for recruiting qualified authors and producing top-quality content, Rachna Sagar has published over 800 titles and maintains strong alliances with major distributors. The diverse range of publications includes CBSE & ICSE school textbooks, workbooks, practice materials, and digital support like interactive eBooks and audio-video animations.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Salesperson based in Kolkata. The Salesperson will be responsible for promoting and selling Rachna Sagar's educational publications to schools, educational institutions, and bookstores. They will handle client inquiries, build and maintain customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and achieve sales targets. The role also involves preparing sales reports, identifying market trends, and participating in marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

Experience in Sales, including developing client relationships and negotiating contracts
Knowledge of the educational publishing industry and various subjects covered in school curriculums
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
Proficiency in using sales software and CRM tools
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
Prior experience in educational sales or publishing would be an advantage
