Salesforce Release Engineer

As an experienced Salesforce Release Engineer with 3-6 years of expertise in managing end-to-end release processes within complex Salesforce ecosystems, your role will involve overseeing deployment strategies, enforcing governance standards, and leading cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality releases across multiple Salesforce orgs and environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own and manage the Salesforce release lifecycle including planning, scheduling, coordination, and deployment of releases across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod). - Define and enforce release governance, including code freeze protocols, version control, change request reviews, and deployment approvals. - Configure and manage deployment pipelines in Gearset to automate and streamline deployment workflows. - Conduct pre-deployment validation and post-deployment verification to ensure the integrity and accuracy of deployments. - Collaborate with Admins, Developers, Architects, QA, and Business stakeholders to ensure release readiness and post-deployment validation. - Utilize tools such as Gearset, Flosum, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX for CI/CD pipeline execution and metadata deployments. - Track and report on release metrics (success/failure rate, rollback events, cycle time) to improve DevOps maturity. - Troubleshoot deployment issues and work with developers for timely resolution. - Train teams and evangelize release best practices within the organization. - Develop deployment strategies and best practices to optimize the efficiency and reliability of deployments. - Collaborate with the Salesforce development team to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. - Participate in release management activities, including release planning, scheduling, and coordination. **Non-Technical Skills:** - Good communication skills (written & spoken) - Good in Analytical thinking - Good in Logical thinking - Good attitude - Flexible to work across teams/clients **Preferred Qualifications:** - Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer Certification. - Development lifecycle and deployment architect certification would be a plus point. - Experience in regulated environments with audit and compliance requirements. - Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Azure Boards). You should be proficient in release management, development lifecycle, Salesforce release, Gearset, Flosum, release planning, Git, Agile, Jenkins, and hotfix to excel in this role.,
