Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Salesforce Integration Architect
with 8+ years of experience to lead and drive integration strategy, design, and implementation across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, enterprise integration patterns, and middleware technologies. This role requires a strong architectural mindset, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end Salesforce integration solutions.
- Define integration architecture and best practices using REST, SOAP, and other API technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Salesforce developers, and enterprise architects to define integration needs and design scalable solutions.
- Own the full integration lifecycle – from requirements gathering to solution delivery and maintenance.
- Guide and mentor development teams in implementing integration patterns and best practices.
- Evaluate and select appropriate middleware/integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica).
- Ensure security, performance, and compliance of integration components.
- Create detailed documentation including integration specifications, design artifacts, and architecture diagrams.
- Participate in technical reviews, audits, and troubleshooting of integration issues.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and integration-related technologies.
Must-Have Skills
- Minimum 8 years of total experience, with at least 4+ years in Salesforce integration architecture.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations with Salesforce using REST, SOAP, APIs, and Middleware tools.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, Apex, and platform capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica Cloud.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, SSO, and data security in integrations.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and cloud-based platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Integration Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect).
- Experience in DevOps processes and CI/CD for Salesforce.
- Knowledge of other CRMs or ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.
- Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Platform Events, Kafka).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, MuleSoft Certified Developer).
