Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy highly dynamic and personalized email templates, forms, and landing pages (Cloud Pages) using AMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), HTML, and CSS.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, segmentation, and manipulation within Automation Studio and Contact Builder.
Develop and manage automation workflows and multi-channel customer journeys using Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
Integrate SFMC with internal and external systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM, websites, data warehouses) using REST/SOAP APIs.
Design and maintain the data model, including Data Extensions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
Implement and manage triggered sends, transactional emails, and batch processes.
Translate detailed business requirements and functional specifications into technical designs and scalable SFMC solutions.
Collaborate with Marketing Managers, Business Analysts, and cross-functional development teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and platform integration.
Perform thorough quality assurance (QA) and troubleshooting for all developed solutions.
Ensure all developments adhere to email deliverability best practices, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regulatory compliance standards.
Monitor and optimize campaign performance, automation efficiency, and platform health.
Stay current with new SFMC releases, features, and best practices.

Technical and Functional Skills:

4-6 years of hands-on, dedicated experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer.
Proven experience in a large-scale, complex SFMC implementation and development environment.
Mastery of SFMC Core Modules: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder.
Expert Proficiency in Scripting: Strong, demonstrable experience with AMPscript for advanced personalization and dynamic content.
Ability to write efficient, complex SQL queries for data filtering, joins, and segmentation within SFMC.
Solid skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience integrating SFMC with external systems using REST and/or SOAP APIs.
