Job Description

Role purpose

Version 1 is looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Consultant to configure, manage, and optimise to support marketing automation strategies and lead nurturing initiatives. This role focuses on maximizing customer engagement through intelligent automation, data-driven campaigns, and seamless integration with Salesforce CRM.

The successful candidate will work closely with marketing, sales, and technical teams to build engagement programs, manage lead scoring, deliver personalized customer experiences, and ensure the smooth integration of Pardot within the wider Salesforce ecosystem.


Qualifications

Key responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Salesforce.Develop custom applications using Apex, Aura, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.Configure Salesforce standard functionalities including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflows.

Implement and manage security settings including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.

Participate in deployment activities using CI/CD tools and version control systems.

Provide technical documentation and support for delivered solutions.

Essential experience & skills

3-5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and configuration.

Salesforce Configuration Skills:

Custom and standard object configuration.

Workflow Rules, Process Builder, and Flow automation.

Validation Rules and Formula Fields.

Approval Processes.

Reports and Dashboards.

Role Hierarchy and Sharing Settings.

Data Import/Export using Data Loader and Data Import Wizard.

Email Templates and Assignment Rules.

Salesforce Modules:

o Strong in Sales Cloud Lead and Opportunity Management, Forecasting, Campaigns.

o Strong in ervice Cloud Case Management, Knowledge Base, Omni-Channel Routing.

o Knowledge in Experience Cloud Customer and Partner Portals.

o Strong in Marketing Cloud (basic exposure) Email Studio, Journey Builder.

o Knowledge in CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Product Configuration and Pricing (optional but desirable).

o Knowledge in Field Service Lightning Work Orders, Scheduling (optional).

o Knowledge in Einstein Analytics / Reports & Dashboards Data visualization and insights.

Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura Visualforce, LWC, SOQL/SOSL.Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns and tools.

Understanding of Salesforce data model and security architecture.

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (preferred).

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Certifications (highly desirable)

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant(preferred)

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with Salesforce DX and DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset).

Knowledge of AppExchange products and Lightning App Builder.

Familiarity with testing frameworks and deployment strategies.
