Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Virtual Assistant (Sales VA) with strong experience in high-volume outbound calling and US insurance processes. The role involves lead generation, client retention, cross-selling, and supporting licensed agents to drive new business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to new leads.
- Qualify prospects by gathering essential information and confirming interest.
- Complete quotes per internal process before handoff.
- Schedule appointments or live-transfer qualified prospects to licensed agents.
- Maintain detailed notes on all leads in the CRM/AMS.
Winbacks & Retention
- Call past clients who have canceled or lapsed policies to win them back.
- Present updated quotes, discounts, or new product offerings.
- Proactively reach out to at-risk clients to prevent cancellations.
- Build rapport and highlight the benefits of returning to or staying with the agency.
Cross-Selling & Upselling
- Review client files to identify opportunities for additional lines (Auto, Home, Life, Renters, Umbrella, Business, etc.).
- Call existing clients to cross-sell and upsell policies.
- Educate clients on bundled discounts and value-added services.
- Track cross-sell opportunities and report conversions.
Driving New Business
- Execute outbound calling campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
- Send follow-up emails/texts to leads after initial calls.
- Manage lead pipelines and ensure timely follow-ups to maximize conversion.
- Consistently hit daily/weekly targets for quotes, appointments, and sales closed (by licensed producers).
Client Relationship Management
- Provide excellent customer service during every interaction.
- Document all calls, appointments, and outcomes in the CRM/AMS.
- Maintain organized systems for lead follow-ups, winbacks, and cross-sell campaigns.
- Support licensed agents by preparing quote summaries and application paperwork as needed.
Performance & Reporting
- Meet or exceed daily call and conversion targets.
- Track and report weekly performance: leads contacted, quotes completed, transfers made, winbacks secured, and cross-sell success.
- Collaborate with management to refine sales scripts, objection-handling, and the transfer process.
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume outbound calling/telemarketing.
- Proficiency in CRM/AMS platforms for documentation and pipeline management.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets (calls, quotes, appointments).
- Exceptional professional phone presence and ability to quickly build rapport.
- Experience in the US Insurance industry (P&C or Life) is strongly preferred.
- Strictly US process experience required.
