Sales Team Leader

As a Sales Team Leader, your role involves hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of the sales team. You will be responsible for directing and scheduling the activities of team employees to ensure proper staffing at all times. Additionally, your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring that each customer is greeted promptly and implementing a prospect tracking and follow-up system. - Assisting salespeople in closing deals when necessary and communicating with the sales team to ensure adherence to dealership policies and procedures. - Conducting sales training meetings as directed by the general sales manager and setting realistic monthly goals for individual team members. - Providing support to team members to help them achieve their objectives and developing improvement programs for those facing challenges. - Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction among team members and recommending dismissal for salespersons not meeting dealership standards. - Contacting new owners within 24 hours of delivery to address any concerns or complaints, ensuring complete satisfaction with the sales process. - Understanding and complying with federal, state, and local regulations affecting vehicle sales, while maintaining a professional appearance and attending sales meetings. - Other tasks as assigned by the management. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in sales leadership role preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to vehicle sales - Ability to set and achieve sales targets Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The compensation package includes a performance bonus and yearly bonus, along with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, leave encashment, and Provident Fund.
