Job Description

Sales Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and coach a team of

    5 - 10 counselors

    to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Drive admissions for online upskilling courses by motivating the team to convert qualified leads into enrollments.
  • Conduct

    Zoom sessions with interested leads

    to provide detailed course guidance and act as a second voice to support counselors.
  • Set clear goals, assign sales targets, and track performance of each team member through daily, weekly, and monthly reviews.
  • Conduct

    daily huddles

    to communicate priorities, targets, and performance updates.
  • Monitor productivity and ensure

    100% compliance

    through audits of calls, emails, and sales processes.
  • Identify performance gaps, implement

    Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)

    , and coordinate training interventions with the Training Manager.
  • Motivate and engage team members to consistently meet and exceed sales expectations.
  • Provide ongoing

    on-the-job training (OJT)

    and mentorship to new team members for faster ramp-up.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum

    3 years of experience

    as a Sales Team Lead in

    EdTech/E-learning/Education sector

    .
  • Proven track record in selling upskilling courses to working professionals.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities with a result-driven mindset.
  • Ability to analyze team performance trends and take corrective action.
  • High level of integrity and ability to build trust within the team.
