Job Title: Sales & Service Engineer Location: Patna Department: Sales & Service / Technical Support Reports To: Sales Manager / Service Head Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Sales & Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and providing after-sales technical support and service to our clients. You will act as a key link between our organization and our customers, ensuring client satisfaction and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities:Sales Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territory/sector. Understand customer needs and offer tailored technical solutions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations. Generate and follow up on leads, inquiries, quotations, and proposals. Achieve sales targets and report on performance metrics. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. Service Responsibilities:Install, commission, and test equipment at customer sites. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services. Conduct regular preventive maintenance and on-site repairs. Handle warranty and non-warranty service issues effectively. Train customer personnel in equipment use and maintenance. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field). experience in technical sales and/or service (freshers with strong technical aptitude may be considered). Strong understanding of engineering products and solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities. Willingness to travel extensively (domestic/international, as applicable). Valid driver’s license (if required for field work). Preferred Skills (Optional):Experience in CRM or ERP software. Hands-on experience with specific equipment or systems related to the role. Certifications in product training or service management.
