Sales & Service Engineer

As a Sales & Service Engineer at Agrifood Machinery, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing technical support for our high-quality food processing equipment. Here is what your responsibilities will entail: - Identify and generate new leads for agricultural and food processing machinery across India. - Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients such as farmers, food processors, and distributors. - Achieve sales targets by building strong relationships with customers and understanding their specific needs. - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies. - Provide on-site installation, commissioning, and training for our machinery. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment in a timely manner. - Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of machinery to ensure optimal performance. - Maintain detailed records of all service activities and customer interactions. - Gather market feedback to inform product development and improvement. - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and dealers. - Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients, helping them choose the right machinery for their operations. Qualifications required for this role: - Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture is mandatory. - Experience: Fresher to 3 years. Freshers are welcome to apply, and training will be provided. Experienced candidates with 1-3 years in agricultural machinery sales or service will be given preference. - Technical Skills: Good understanding of agricultural practices and the food processing industry, basic knowledge of machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, CRM software). - Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, a high degree of professionalism, and a customer-centric approach, willingness to travel extensively and work independently.
