Job Description

As a Partner Enablement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing strong partnerships and developing technical capability with our strategic business partners. Your primary responsibility will be to enable our partners to effectively qualify, sell, deliver and support our software solutions, driving mutual success and growth. You will act as the day-to-day technical lead for partners, becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for partner-led sales engagement and implementation for Backbase sales teams, as well as the key point of contact for solutions partners.



  • Partner Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new partners, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our products, services, and business objectives;
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training sessions and materials to enable partners on our software solutions, sales techniques, and market positioning;
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the Commercial teams to provide partners with the necessary resources, collateral, and tools to effectively sell our products. Guide partners to position and implement Backbase solutions in the best manner;
  • Technical Enablement: Developing technical enablement journeys aligned with our Services organization to ensure that partners are always up to date with our latest solutions, methodologies and ways of working;
  • Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess partner maturity and provide regular reporting and feedback to partners to drive improvement, including focus on partner certifications;
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partner contacts, acting as a liaison between partners and internal teams;
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and advancements in our software solutions to ensure partners have accurate and current information;
  • Regional Focus: Work closely with Commercial and Services teams to deliver both Revenue and successful implementation in the region.


  • 10+ years of relevant experience;
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus;
  • Proven experience as a Solution Engineer, Architect, pre-sales consultant, partner enablement, or a related role in the software industry. Having collaborated with partners is a must-have, partner-specific roles are a nice-to-have;
  • Comfortable orchestrating a cross-functional team;
  • Strong knowledge of software products and financial services industry trends;
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to interact with a wide array of stakeholders and tailor communication styles, from front-line to C-level audiences;
  • Ability to influence stakeholder to achieve business outcomes;
  • Proven experience creating solutions with customers / partners and building capability to deliver and/or maintain solutions;
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure partner performance;
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
