Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Specialist who combines marketing acumen with technical sales expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, preparing accurate technical and commercial proposals, and managing the entire bid submission process. This role is crucial for expanding our client base and securing new projects in the competitive HVAC and cleanroom sector.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and qualify new business leads through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and consult with them to provide appropriate turnkey solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Technical Proposals & Bidding:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project specifications, client requirements, and technical drawings.

  • Lead the bid management process: search for relevant tenders (on platforms like GeM and other portals), analyze tender documents, and ensure timely submission of complete and compliant bids.

  • Coordinate with the internal design and project teams to ensure all technical specifications and costs are accurately captured in proposals.

  • Conduct cost analysis and risk assessment for each bid.

Marketing Activities:

  • Assist in developing marketing collateral, including brochures, case studies, and presentations.
  • Manage the company's digital presence, including the website and professional social media platforms.
  • Represent Syntec Airflow Systems at industry trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

     Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
  • Experience:

     3-5 years of proven experience in a technical sales, business development, or proposals role within the HVAC, cleanroom, or a related engineering industry.
  • Core Competencies:

  • Crucial proficiency in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for HVAC and cleanroom projects.

  • Demonstrable experience in the end-to-end bidding and tendering process.

  • Technical Skills:

     Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
  • Soft Skills:

     Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Other:

     Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel). Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
