 Sales Manager


 UMA RUBBER AND PLASTIC PRODUCT is a rubber product manufacturing company incorporated in 1991.

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our B2B sales function. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth across territories and market segments.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team including Sales Engineers and Inside Sales Executives.



Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational targets.



Identify and explore new business opportunities, industry segments, and OEM clients.



Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and channel partners.



Monitor territory coverage, lead conversions, and ensure consistent sales pipeline.



Collaborate with the marketing, technical, and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solution alignment.



Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for team members and monitor their progress.



Conduct regular training and performance reviews to strengthen team capability.



Track competitor activity, pricing, and industry trends to inform sales decisions.



Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the company.



Oversee quotation processes, commercial negotiations, and customer onboarding.




CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum Requirement:

 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Rubber Technology, BBA/MBA in Marketing, or equivalent industrial background.



Proven track record (4–8 years) in B2B industrial sales, including team management.



Strong leadership, planning, and delegation skills.



Knowledge of rubber, plastic, polymer, or engineering product markets is preferred.



Deep understanding of OEM customer expectations and industrial buying cycles.



Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.



Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.



Willingness to travel (up to 25–30% of the time).



Fluency in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency is a plus.
