About the Role:

Sales Manager

IT and government project sales

Key Responsibilities:

Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities in
Smart City and Government IT projects
.
Manage end-to-end sales processes—from lead generation to proposal submission and deal closure.
Build and maintain strong networks with government departments, consultants, and system integrators.
Prepare RFP responses, technical proposals, and participate in bid presentations.
Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to align offerings with client needs.
Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business (MBA preferred).
8–10 years of experience
in
IT / Smart City / E-Governance / Government project sales
.
Strong understanding of
GeM portal, tendering process, and government procurement norms
.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large government clients.
