Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Area Sales Manager to lead sales activities for our Laser Marking Machines in the assigned region. The role involves driving sales, expanding our customer base, managing key client relationships, and guiding a team of sales executives or channel partners. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of industrial equipment and laser technology, with a strong network in manufacturing or automation sectors. Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales targets for all type of Laser Machines in the designated area. Identify and convert potential leads in industries like automotive, electronics, medical devices, tools, and engineering. Develop strong relationships with OEMs, integrators, and end-users. Conduct product presentations, technical demos, and application discussions. Collaborate with technical teams for customized solutions and support. Manage channel partners, distributors, or direct sales representatives. Track competitor activities and market trends to refine sales strategies. Submit regular reports on pipeline status, order closures, and forecasts. Participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events. Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and after-sales support. Key Requirements: Minimum 4–6 years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in laser marking, engraving, or industrial automation. Strong technical understanding of laser marking technologies (Fiber/CO₂/UV). Proven ability to close B2B sales with manufacturing clients. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office tools. Willing to travel extensively within the assigned area. Preferred Qualities: Experience in selling laser systems, CNC, or automation equipment. Understanding of marking applications, substrates, and industry needs. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and result-driven approach. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
