Role Overview

Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Growth

  • Identify, prospect, and win mid-market and enterprise accounts (₹500 Cr+ revenue companies) and government/PSU opportunities.
  • Leverage existing connects with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and IT decision-makers to accelerate entry and build long-term relationships.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, solution positioning, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
  • Solution-Driven Selling

  • Understand client challenges in infrastructure, datacenter, cloud, cybersecurity, middleware, and automation.
  • Work closely with technical and delivery teams to craft tailored, consultative solutions.
  • Strengthen positioning by leveraging OEM partnerships (Cisco, Red Hat, HP, Veeam, etc.).
  • Sales Strategy & Enablement

  • Contribute to the sales playbook — ICPs, messaging, account plans.
  • Drive structured account-based selling and pipeline management.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and feedback to strengthen Silvereye’s go-to-market strategy.


What We’re Looking For

  • 8–10 years of experience

    in IT infrastructure sales, pre-sales, or solution consulting.
  • Proven track record in

    Government or Enterprise sales

    , with strong industry connects and CXO-level relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of

    infrastructure technology stack

    — servers, storage, cloud, security, middleware, or automation.
  • Pre-sales background preferred (solution architects, consultants, or technical specialists ready to move into a sales role).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to

    build from scratch

    and take ownership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
