Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead the sales and business development of Pyridine, Fluorine, and Boron-based chemistries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical manufacturing, deep knowledge of specialty/intermediate chemicals, and a proven track record of driving sales growth in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities for Pyridine, Fluorine, and Boron derivatives.
- Expand customer base across pharma, agrochemicals, Polymers, Electronics and specialty chemicals sectors.
- Develop strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Customer Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored chemical solutions.
- Handle technical-commercial discussions with R&D, procurement, and production teams of clients.
- Market Development & Strategy
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Track trends in Pyridine, Fluorine, and Boron chemistries and update internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Supply Chain) to align business objectives.
- Operational Excellence
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements.
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare MIS/reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
- 5 –10 years of experience in sales/business development of specialty chemicals or KSMs.
- Strong knowledge of Pyridine, Fluorine, and Boron chemistries and their applications.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
