Job Description: Sales Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive

revenue growth, and expand market presence. The Sales Manager will be responsible for

developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, achieving targets, and building a

strong distributor/dealer network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company

targets.

  • Forecast sales and set performance goals aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify new markets, channels, and growth opportunities.
  • Team Leadership & Management
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales executives/distributors.
  • Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching.
  • Client & Market Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and

channel partners.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor

activities, and pricing trends.

  • Sales Operations
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of sales data, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth execution

of orders, promotions, and campaigns.

  • Business Growth
  • Expand distribution networks in target regions.
  • Identify and onboard new business partners/dealers.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of 3–7 years in sales leadership, preferably in FMCG,

food & beverages, or consumer goods.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and make strategic decisions.
  • Experience in managing a sales team and channel partners.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

  • Compensation: 40-50K Competitive (Fixed + Incentives/Bonus)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,762.77 - ₹50,000.00 per month
