Job Description

Percept ICE is looking for an Exhibition Sales manager who will be responsible for selling exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and other revenue-generating opportunities at trade shows and events. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, developing self-sales strategies, and contributing to the overall success of the exhibition.


Responsibilities:


Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Identifying and securing exhibitors for events, often by pitching the benefits of participation.
  • Selling sponsorship packages to companies seeking visibility and exposure.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Managing the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Specialize in Exhibition Stall Sales, with an experience of 4-5 years in an Exhibition company.
  • Should be aware about the Exhibition Sales method (sq mts, pricing, floor plan), & Operations.
  • Should surely be outgoing – be able to make minimum 30-50 Telephonic Calls and 4-5 meetings a week.
  • Well mannered, smart and confident.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process and post-event.


Market Research and Analysis:

  • Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and potential exhibitors.
  • Analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement.


Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Working closely with the event team to ensure smooth execution of the exhibition.
  • Collaborating with marketing and other departments to support sales efforts.


Event Support:

  • Assisting with the logistical aspects of the event as needed.
  • Providing support to exhibitors and sponsors during the event.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably in the B2B exhibition industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and negotiate effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals.


Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the exhibition industry and its trends.

Self-Motivation and Organization: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other departments.

Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
