Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Technical SalesLocation: Bangalore, PeenyaJob Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

Identify and target potential clients in the Hosur region who can benefit from Solid works software solutions. Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including online research, cold calls, and networking.

Client Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the industrial sector. Understand client needs and challenges to provide tailored Solid works software solutions.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of Solidworks software and its applications in the mechanical engineering industry. Stay updated on the latest features and updates to effectively communicate their benefits to clients.

Technical Presentations

:Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the capabilities of Solid works software. Explain how Solid works can enhance clients' engineering and design processes.

Sales Planning:

Create and execute a strategic sales plan for the Hosur region, including setting targets and milestones. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve regional and company-wide sales objectives.

Sales Quotations and Proposals:

Prepare and deliver accurate sales quotations and proposals to clients. Negotiate terms and pricing to secure sales agreements.

Market Research:

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and threats. Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on market insights.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and revenue projections. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Customer Support:

Assist clients in resolving technical issues and act as a liaison between clients and technical support teams.Travel Requirements:Regularly visit industries and businesses in Hosur and surrounding areas to promote Solidworks software sales. Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the software or engineering industry will be added advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and Solidworks software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to travel within the Hosur region.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software for sales management is a plus.
