Job Title: Sales Manager – Cleaning Liquid Products (HoReCa / FMCG)

Location: South Goa, India (based at the company’s office with regular travel within the region)

Company Overview:

Our start‑up specializes in high‑performance cleaning liquids for the hospitality (HoReCa) and fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. We are scaling our market presence in South Goa and are looking for a results‑driven sales professional to lead our growth.

Role Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive volume, expand distribution, and build strong relationships with key accounts in the HoReCa and FMCG channels. The role reports directly to the Founder/CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a sales plan for South Goa, targeting hotels, restaurants, catering firms, and FMCG distributors.

- Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and evaluate potential partners.

- Manage a portfolio of accounts, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely order fulfillment.

- Lead, mentor, and coach a small sales team; set targets and track performance.

- Monitor competitor activity and market trends; provide insights to product and marketing teams.

- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.

- Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics to meet delivery schedules.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in sales within the FMCG or hospitality sectors, preferably with cleaning or related products.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Strong network of contacts within South Goa’s HoReCa and FMCG distribution channels.

- Strategic thinking with a data‑driven approach.

- Ability to travel within South Goa and work flexible hours.

- Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.

Compensation:
