About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Sales Manager to spearhead business growth for our Valve Automation solutions in the vital Mumbai and Western Region. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in actuated valve systems and a demonstrated history of cultivating strong, long-term client relationships. This role is essential for expanding our market footprint and driving revenue through our wide range of pneumatically and electrically actuated quarter turn valves (Ball, Butterfly, Plug, Three way valves etc.)
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed regional revenue and profitability goals for the valve automation portfolio.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening and expanding relationships with existing key accounts.
· Lead the promotion and sales of wide range of pneumatically and electrically actuated quarter turn valves (Ball, Butterfly, Plug, Three way valves etc.) This is to be achieve throw individual effort as well as get it done throw the team given to you.
· Deliver high-impact technical presentations and product demonstrations that clearly articulate value propositions to engineers, project managers, and senior decision-makers.
· Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Service, Supply Chain) to ensure flawless project execution, timely delivery, and complete customer satisfaction.
· Continuously monitor market dynamics, competitor strategies, and evolving customer needs to generate actionable intelligence for strategic planning.
· Prepare precise sales forecasts, manage pipeline reporting, and conduct performance analysis for regular management review.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
· 10–15 years of direct sales experience in industrial valves and automation solutions, specifically within the Chemical and Pharma industry along with other industry Sectors.
· Robust technical knowledge of valve automation systems, including actuation technology, control panels, and relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ISO).
· A verifiable track record of consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Self-driven with the ability to operate independently as a strategic contributor and individual performer.
· Ability to motivate and lead a team and ensure that they are successful.
Preferred Attributes
· Thorough understanding of industry standards and certifications (e.g., API, ISO, ATEX, IEC).
· An established network of contacts and clients within the Mumbai and Western industrial region, along with other regions in India.
