Job Title: Territory Sales Manager – Heavy Commercial VehiclesDepartment: Sales Location: [Specify Location] Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Head Industry: Automobile / Commercial Vehicles Job Purpose:To drive sales volumes and market share of Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV) through local dealers and sub-territories by engaging with strategic customers, supporting channel partners, and executing market development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Sales & Market Share Growth: Achieve sales volume targets and increase market share within the assigned territory. Work closely with local dealers to ensure performance and alignment with business objectives. Conduct sales forecasting and planning based on current product range. Customer Engagement: Identify and build strong relationships with key strategic customers and fleet owners. Drive group deals by targeting transporters and influencers. Territory & Segment Management: Map sub-territories by customer segment and application type. Create and execute conversion plans based on customer insights and potential. Product & Market Intelligence: Serve as the communication bridge between customers and the Product Management Group (PMG). Provide timely insights on customer expectations and market trends. Track competitor activities and strategize to counter market challenges. Channel Partner Development: Guide and support dealers in developing a strong secondary sales network. Train, motivate, and build capabilities of dealer sales teams. Marketing & Promotion: Develop and implement Below-the-Line (BTL) activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Customize marketing initiatives to suit local market needs and customer segments. Required Qualifications:Graduate in any discipline (Engineering or MBA preferred) 3+ years of experience in Commercial Vehicle Sales or B2B Sales Key Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of automotive/commercial vehicle market Ability to manage dealer relationships and secondary network Excellent communication and negotiation skills Analytical approach to market data and competitor intelligence Self-motivated with leadership qualities
