Job Title: Sales Manager – Passenger Vehicles

Department: Sales & Marketing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Sales Manager – Passenger Vehicles to lead our retail sales operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day sales activities, drive footfall conversions, manage the sales team, and ensure exceptional customer service. Experience in dealership sales, customer acquisition, finance tie-ups, and team management is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Target Achievement

  • Drive monthly and annual passenger vehicle sales targets (retail and corporate).
  • Monitor daily walk-ins, inquiries, test drives, bookings, and retail conversions.
  • Plan and execute dealership sales campaigns and promotional activities.

Team Handling & Training

  • Lead a team of sales consultants, showroom executives, and tele-callers.
  • Assign and monitor individual targets, conduct performance reviews, and daily briefings.
  • Train the sales team on product knowledge, customer handling, soft skills, and finance schemes.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction during pre-sales and post-sales journey.
  • Build strong relationships with individual and corporate clients for repeat and referral business.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.

Finance, Insurance & Documentation

  • Coordinate with finance & insurance partners to assist customers with vehicle loans and insurance.
  • Ensure complete documentation for RTO registration, delivery process, and warranty formalities.
  • Manage vehicle delivery schedules and customer experience during handover.

Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain and review daily sales reports, enquiry registers, and booking charts.
  • Prepare and present weekly sales performance reports to the GM or dealership owner.
  • Track market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of passenger vehicle models and features.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team leadership with the ability to motivate and coach.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, DMS (Dealer Management Software), and MS Office.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing is preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in automobile retail sales, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience with a reputed passenger vehicle dealership is preferred.

General Manager – Sales / Dealer Principal

Salary Package:

800000 CTC + Attractive Incentives + Perks
