To perform diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles (trucks and buses) in accordance with manufacturer standards, ensuring vehicle safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:1. Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair:

• Conduct thorough diagnostics using tools and scan equipment to identify faults.
• Perform repair and replacement of components (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.).
• Adhere to manufacturer service procedures and timelines.

2. Preventive Maintenance & Inspection:

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety checks.
• Inspect and test systems such as steering, suspension, and braking systems to ensure roadworthiness.

3. Technical Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and checklists.
• Report additional faults or safety concerns found during inspection.
• Provide feedback to supervisors regarding recurring technical issues.

4. Workshop Safety & Compliance:

• Follow workshop safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Ensure tools and diagnostic equipment are properly maintained.
• Comply with company SOPs, ISO/TS standards, and environmental norms.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of diesel engines and commercial vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and service manuals.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Educational Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
• Additional OEM certifications (preferably from Daimler / Bharat Benz) will be an advantage.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial vehicle servicing (Buses/Trucks)
• Experience with BS6 vehicles and electronic control systems preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Workshop / Field Service role with occasional travel.
• Flexible to work in shifts and extended hours during peak service times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
