Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager cum Store Manager to oversee day-to-day retail operations, drive sales growth, and manage customer relationships. This role combines sales leadership with store management responsibilities to ensure smooth operations, excellent customer service, and achievement of business targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Drive overall sales performance to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and sales strategies.
  • Develop and implement promotional campaigns to boost footfall and revenue.
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Store Operations

  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising.
  • Ensure the store is well-maintained, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Monitor and control expenses to optimize profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.

Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Create staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to improve product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Foster a positive work environment with a customer-first culture.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and analyze sales data, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and share insights with management.
  • Monitor stock movement, identify fast/slow-moving items, and plan accordingly.
  • Manage billing, cash handling, and reconciliation of daily sales.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
  • Proven sales and target-achievement track record.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, inventory, and merchandising.
  • Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / POS software (added advantage).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in sales/retail/store management (fashion, apparel, or lifestyle industry preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in handling store operations, sales strategy, and team management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
