Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales operations in the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic planning and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets.
• Manage and lead a team of sales executives / area sales officers to ensure strong field execution.
• Identify and onboard new distributors, stockists, and channel partners.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor performance, gather market intelligence, and build relationships with key customers.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for effective trade promotions and product visibility.
• Monitor competitor activities and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market developments.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in FMCG sales.
• Proven experience in channel sales, distribution management, and target achievement.
• Strong knowledge of modern trade.
• Excellent team management, communication, and negotiation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
