Position: Sales Manager – Automotive Plastic Components

Location: Ranjangaon, Pune (with frequent travel)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales Manager to lead business development for injection-moulded plastic parts in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify and acquire new customers in the automotive OEM and Tier-1 supplier segment.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely order closure.
  • Collaborate with production and design teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Engineering Graduate (Mechanical/Automobile/Polymer preferred)

MBA in Marketing

Experience:

Total experience 10-12 years in selling automotive components

Out of which Minimum 4-5 years in sales of injection-moulded plastic components.

Strong exposure to automotive industry and OEM/Tier-1 clients.

Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

Target-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.

Ability and willingness to travel extensively.

Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
