Job Description

We are hiring for Sales Manager/Team leading profile in which candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Travel Consultants, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities. They develop and implement strategies, build relationships with clients and partners, and manage team performance. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Oversee the daily activities of the business development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.  Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals, including market research, competitive analysis, and sales planning.  Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive business growth.  Opportunity Identification: Identify new business opportunities, including potential clients, markets, and partnerships, and assess their feasibility.  Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.  Performance Management: Set individual and team performance goals, track progress, and provide regular feedback to ensure team members are meeting objectives.  Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve business development processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices.  Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.  Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and a cohesive approach to business development.  *Preferred skills and qualifications* - Experience with travel booking software like Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport etc. - Relevant certifications like IATA/UFTAA (International Air Transport Association/United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations), TAAI (Travel Agents Association of India), or IITC (The International Institute of Travel). - Knowledge of additional languages will be a plus point: Dutch, German, Italian, Chinese, and/or Japanese (for international travels); Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, and/or Punjabi (for domestic trips).
