Sales Manager - Agency

As a Sales Manager (Agency), your role revolves around managing relationships with Agency channel partners to drive business growth. Your key responsibilities include: - Achieving monthly topline targets - Diversifying the portfolio into motor, non-motor, and health products - Recruiting Agents through various sources to achieve business targets - Achieving overall Gross Written Premium (GWP) and sustainable profitability - Maintaining Combined Ratio at budgeted levels to minimize Loss & Cost of Acquisition - Activating agents month on month as per set targets - Coordinating with other departments like Underwriting, Claims, and Operations - Supporting and guiding Agents in policy services activities - Training Agents/Channel partners on products, processes, and unique selling points of the Company - Identifying areas of improvement and enhancing business opportunities - Exploring and identifying new business avenues through cold calling, generation of referrals, and networking with agents - Managing daily reports and Management Information System (MIS) for the branch - Handling policy issuance, cancellation, endorsement, and resolving discrepancies raised by Underwriters - Analyzing and resolving rejections of policy-related issues - Managing reconciliation processes In addition to the key responsibilities, the professional experience required for this role is 2-6 years in General Insurance with a focus on the Agency channel. Proficiency in Excel is essential for this position.
