Sales Lead- Transformers

Role Overview: As a Sales Lead for Transformers at our company, your primary responsibility will be to lead customer engagement and sales efforts for large and medium power transformers, distribution transformers, and OVDTs in the Indian domestic market. You will play a crucial role in building and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients such as utilities, EPCs, and institutional buyers across regions like Delhi and Mumbai. Your strategic planning and proactive client engagement will be essential in achieving annual sales targets and order intake goals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead customer engagement and sales efforts for large and medium power transformers, distribution transformers, and OVDTs in the Indian domestic market. - Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients including utilities, EPCs, and institutional buyers across regions like Delhi and Mumbai. - Be accountable for achieving annual sales targets and order intake goals through strategic planning and proactive client engagement. - Possess a working knowledge of transformer specifications to effectively align product offerings with customer requirements. - Drive business with large accounts and institutional clients through focused campaigns, solution-oriented selling, and long-term value creation. - Expand market presence by developing new customer bases, strengthening channel partners, and creating growth opportunities. - Engage in need identification, bid preparation, and solution selling in collaboration with technical and proposal teams. - Contribute to sales planning, forecasting, and reporting through structured reviews and pipeline management. - Train and mentor junior sales staff to ensure consistent messaging, product knowledge, and sales best practices. - Ensure post-sales follow-up, customer feedback, and satisfaction tracking to reinforce trust and repeat business.
