Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in solar, wind, hybrid projects

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Head.

Qualifications & requirement:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master Degree preferred)
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to promoting sustainable energy solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives in the renewable energy sector.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive threats within the renewable energy industry.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including project development, joint ventures, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals, bids, and tender responses to secure new business opportunities and contracts.
  • Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with clients, partners, and suppliers to maximize profitability and mitigate risks.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including engineering, finance, legal, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development activities, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, while also identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with business development activities.
