Job Description: Sales Head – Solar Pumps Division

Location: Bengaluru, India

Overview:

Mecwin Technologies is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Head to lead and expand the solar pumps sales division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within UPS, pumps, or electrical distribution sectors, with a passion for contributing to the agricultural sector by empowering Indian farmers through innovative solar pumping solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust strategies to build and expand a distributor network for solar pumps across India.

• Lead building and managing a high-performance sales team equipped to meet challenging sales targets.

• Set and monitor monthly and quarterly sales targets, driving the team to consistently achieve 100% target attainment.

• Identify and revive lost market share with innovative ideas and proactive market engagement.

• Ensure active engagement with customers by personal visits to build trust and strong relationships.

• Oversee collaboration with production, service, and coordination teams to smoothly deliver sales objectives.

• Manage and motivate the sales force to work in highly competitive markets with a high degree of self-motivation.

• Prepare weekly MIS reports and update senior management, reporting directly to CFO and Director.

• Represent Mecwin Technologies at industry conferences, exhibitions, and government offices to enhance brand visibility and build industry connections.

• Ready to travel extensively (up to 20 days/month) PAN India to develop and support sales channels.

• Uphold strong commitment to the company’s mission of supporting Indian farmers with sustainable solar pump solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 12 to 15 years of proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in UPS, pumps, or electrical distribution business.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Strong leadership skills with experience in setting up distributor networks and building sales teams.

• Ability to work under pressure and in competitive markets with a focus on results.

• Willingness to travel extensively and work from the Bengaluru office.

• Competency in interfacing with government bodies and participating in related industry events.

• Experience in handling incentive-driven pay structures with readiness to accept 50% variable payout.
