Job Description

As the Sales Head at Ensto India, your role is crucial in driving the growth of the business in India and neighboring countries. Your main task will be to develop and implement business plans by identifying opportunities, understanding customer requirements, analyzing market conditions, and evaluating competitor data for Ensto's products and solutions. You will also be responsible for building and executing channel partner strategies, arranging product approvals, participating in tenders, and driving overall sales and business development activities in the region. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Ensto's sales and business development activities in India. - Lead efforts to grow the business in India and neighboring countries. - Establish and lead an effective sales organization with defined roles and capabilities. - Collaborate with the global sales team to develop strategies for new and existing markets. - Develop and implement channel partner strategies to drive business growth. - Analyze tenders and bids, conduct market analysis, and monitor competitive activities. - Build strong relationships with electricity distribution companies, DISCOMs, utilities, and EPC customers. - Plan and execute marketing activities such as trade shows and exhibitions. - Set annual sales business plans, ensure collections as per plan, and drive the S&OP process. - Define clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and ensure accountability of the sales team. Competencies: - Knowledge of the energy sector, market trends, and competition. - Strong leadership, business acumen, and awareness of industry trends. - Understanding of local customers, procurement processes, and key decision makers. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills. - Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and adapt strategies accordingly. - Positive attitude, proactive approach, and ability to work autonomously. - Experience with CRM tools and proficiency in the MS Office suite. Required Education and Experience: - Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Administration. - Work experience in sales within the energy sector, particularly with Indian DISCOMs and EPC contractors. - Strong networking skills and previous commercial roles in a similar industry. - Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in a managerial position leading a team. - Proven track record of sales growth, commercial deal-making, and business development. - Familiarity with commercial tenders and excellent hunting/prospecting capabilities. Reporting: You will report to the Managing Director of Ensto India. Job Location: IMT Manesar/Mumbai/Ahmedabad Salary Range: Best as per industry standards and relevant experience.
