Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for cell culture business of Research Sera, Cell culture plastics and Cytogenetics Media, by visiting customers in academia, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical research, diagnostics labs, IVF clinics, hospitals etc. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the life sciences market, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers. The Sales Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and to drive revenue growth. Locations: Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Jammu, Dehradun, Varanasi, Patna, Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Raipur, Goa, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Mangalore, Kochi, Tirupati, Chennai, Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Hyderabad Key Responsibilities: 1. Sale Generation: • Identify and engage with potential customers through various channels (e.g., cold calling, networking, industry events) • Conduct workflow presentations to potential clients • Achieve exponential growth targets of YoY 25-30% for all product lines • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and sales contracts • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets • Maintain profitable business 2. Customer Relationship Management & Market Intelligence: • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty • Should have scientific acumen for value based workflow selling • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments • Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct roadshows and demand generation campaigns 3. Sales Administration: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities (Visits, leads and demand generations) in the CRM system/ SFDC • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management • Provide secondary sales data on daily basis at end customer level • Monitor and report on sales metrics and performance against targets • Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge Preferred Qualifications: • BTech/Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences or a related field • Experience of sales in the life sciences industry would be preferred • Strong knowledge of life sciences products and services • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Proficient in using CRM software, SFDC and Microsoft Office Suite
