Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive A sales executive identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options. Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.                       Roles & Responsibilities: 1.    Generate leads and maintain a pipeline of potential clients. 2.    Schedule meetings with potential clients and present sales proposals. 3.    Follow up with clients to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction. 4.    Research and analyse market trends to stay up to date with industry developments. 5.    Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales and marketing material such as brochures, presentations, and social media campaigns. 6.    Attend industry events and conferences to network with prospective clients and stay informed about industry news. 7.    Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in a CRM system. 8.    Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on customer needs and preferences. 9.    Participate in sales training and learning programs to continually develop skills and knowledge.   Qualifications: 1.    Bachelor’s degree in agriculture is must. 2.    5+ years of experience in fertilizer sales.   Skills: 1.    Effective communication skills (verbal and written) to engage with potential clients. 2.    Proactive and persistent work ethic to ensure the continuous generation of new leads. 3.    Strong negotiation skills to close sales deals and pricing terms 4.    Analytical skills to understand market trends and customer needs. 5.    Time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage sales opportunities.       Knowledge: 1.    Product knowledge and understanding of the variables that may impact fertilizers sector such as crop yield, market prices, crop rotation, soil type etc. 2.    Understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends in the fertilizers sector. 3.    Understanding of the regulatory requirements related to fertilizers and agriculture.     Attitude: 1.    A results-driven attitude to focus on achieving sales targets. 2.    Positive attitude to dealing with customers and a solutions-oriented mindset with an ability to identify areas where an organization can provide real value to their customers. 3.    Willingness to learn and develop self and willingness to take on challenges and step outside the comfort zone to grow. 4.    Strong customer service mentality oriented towards building long-term relationships with customers rather than one-time transactions.
