This role plays a pivotal part in driving revenue growth by managing strategic relationships with industrial clients across key sectors such as steel, glass, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and equipment manufacturing. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with commercial acumen to deliver customized solutions, consistently exceed sales targets, and foster long-term client partnerships. Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industrial sectors including steel, glass, pharma, chemicals, and equipment.
- Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with existing and prospective clients through consistent engagement and solution-focused communication.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and customer requirements to recommend tailored product and service solutions.
- Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets through disciplined planning, execution, and performance tracking.
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms while maintaining profitability and alignment with company objectives.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, quality adherence, and fulfillment of customer expectations.
- Provide regular, actionable reports on sales performance, market developments, and competitive intelligence to leadership.
Requirements Requirements:
- B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc, or B.Com (preferred).
- 3 6 years of experience in industrial product sales, with a focus on welding, power tools, adhesives, abrasives, or chemical gases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex sales challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence key decision - makers.
- Proven track record in negotiation, deal closure, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in techno-commercial evaluation of industrial products and services.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools is a plus.
