Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • The ideal candidates must possess a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and industry knowledge. Here are the key skills we must prioritize during recruitment:
    1. Sales Excellence & Target Achievement
    • Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets (ideally 100%+ target achievement)
    • Experience in consultative selling and closing complex deals
    • Strong pipeline management and opportunity prioritization skills
    • Track record of increasing average deal size and customer lifetime value

2. Product & Domain Expertise

  • Deep understanding of personal loan products, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements
  • Knowledge of interest rate structures, EMI calculations, and loan processing timelines
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance in personal lending (RBI guidelines, KYC/AML norms)
  • Familiarity with credit scoring and underwriting basics
  • Experience with fintech lending platforms and digital onboarding processes

3. Communication & Negotiation Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and regional languages (Hindi preferred, Tamil/Telugu/Kannada advantageous)
  • Strong presentation and persuasion abilities
  • Ability to explain complex loan products in simple, customer-friendly terms
  • Negotiation skills to close deals and manage customer objections

4. Problem-Solving & Customer-Centric Approach

  • Proactive mindset in identifying customer pain points and offering solutions
  • Ability to navigate complex customer situations and find win-win outcomes
  • Customer empathy and commitment to delivering excellent service experience
  • Resilience in handling rejection and maintaining positivity under pressure

5. Team Collaboration & Growth Mindset

  • Willingness to mentor junior team members and share best practices
  • Collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork (operations, underwriting, finance)
