Position Overview

Half Spoon

Key Responsibilities

1.B2B Business Development

  • Identify and onboard distributors, corporate clients, gourmet food stores, and HoReCa partners.
  • Pitch Half Spoon saffron as the

    premium, pure, and lab-tested choice

    for clients.
  • Develop long-term business relationships with institutional buyers.


2.Corporate & Gifting Sales

  • Target corporates for Diwali and festive gifting contracts.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to curate

    saffron-based gifting solutions

    .


3.Channel Management & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Ensure repeat orders through strong relationship management.
  • Negotiate trade margins, credit terms, and contracts.


4.Market Insights & Competition Benchmarking

  • Track competitor pricing, promotions, and distribution.
  • Share insights with leadership to refine B2B strategies.


5.Brand Advocacy

  • Represent

    Half Spoon

    at trade fairs, food exhibitions, and corporate showcases.
  • Ensure saffron’s

    purity, authenticity, and Kashmiri heritage

    are central to all pitches.

Qualification Skills

  • Education

    : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience

    : Minimum 3 years in B2B sales of saffron or other premium D2C food categories.
  • Preferred Brands

    : Zafran Premium, Baby Saffron, Keynote Saffron, Lion Saffron, Vedapure, House of Saffron.
  • Skills

    : Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Network

    : Existing connections in

    retail shops, gourmet food chains, gifting houses, and HoReCa sector

    .
