Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage new B2G (Business-to-Government) clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Conduct live demonstrations and guided walkthroughs of the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal and related services.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Create and deliver tailored pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Lead negotiations to close deals that align with business objectives and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative sales strategies to drive business growth.

Market & Industry Research

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify new opportunities in the B2G sector.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and GeM policy updates.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support outreach initiatives and lead generation campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Represent GeMTech PARAS at industry events, trade shows, and professional networking forums.

Administration & Reporting

  • Use CRM tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain accurate client data.
  • Prepare and share regular reports on key performance metrics, client feedback, and market insights.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education

    : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience

    : Minimum of 3 years in B2G or institutional sales.
  • Language

    : Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory. Preference given to native or professionally proficient speakers.
  • Sales Expertise

    : Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and close high-value government contracts.
  • Communication Skills

    : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency

    : Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools for delivering online demonstrations.
  • Analytical Thinking

    : Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Initiative

    : Proactive, self-motivated, and client-focused approach.
  • Teamwork

    : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
  • Travel

    : Willingness to travel for client meetings, demonstrations, and industry events as required.
