JD FOR SALES EXECUTIVE - PROJECTS
Role Definition: Sales Executive – Fire Safety Projects
Responsible for driving sales growth of fire protection systems and solutions by identifying prospects, building strong client relationships, managing the sales cycle from lead generation to order closure, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires technical understanding of fire safety products and services, effective communication, and coordination with design, procurement, and project teams to deliver solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Result Areas:
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for fire safety projects
· Submit timely and accurate proposals, quotations, and BOQs to clients
· Generate qualified leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
· Secure project orders from new and existing clients
· Maintain customer database with updated interactions and status in DART/CRM and ORDER
· Ensure smooth project handover to client team with complete documentation
· Follow up with finance team to ensure timely invoicing and payment collections
· Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales performance and market intelligence reports
· Build and sustain strong client relationships through regular engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in fire safety projects (hydrant systems, sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, IoT-based solutions, etc.
Maintain strong relationships with consultants
Generate leads through cold calls, networking, customer references, consultants, and market research
Deliver presentations, product demos, and technical discussions with prospects and consultants
Work with the design and Procurement team to prepare proposals, BOQs, and technical submittals
Present proposals to clients, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts
Act as the primary point of contact for customer queries during sales and project execution
Collaborate with design, engineering, and projects team for technical feasibility and project execution
Eligibility Criteria:
· Engineering Graduate – Preferably B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
· Interest or academic exposure in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills
· Willingness to travel locally for meetings/site visits
· Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Self-motivated with a “fire in the belly” attitude towards growth and results
· Willingness to work in the field and interact with industry professionals
· Knowledge of Fire Safety Systems (desirable but not mandatory, training will be provided)
Remuneration:
· Incentive-based Compensation: Earn commissions on every unit sold through partner network
· Fixed Pay: Starting at Rs.35000/- per month and highly negotiable based on what candidate brings to the table
