Job Description: Sales Executive – Solar Industry Position: Sales Executive & Field Sales Work Type: Hybrid (Field + Office Coordination) Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years in Solar Industry (EPC/IPP Sales, Solar Component Sales, or Industrial B2B Sales Preferred) Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive Sales Executive who will handle both field sales activities and key account coordination. The role includes visiting EPC companies, developers, contractors, and also managing large corporate accounts, tenders, pricing follow-ups, and coordination from office. Key Responsibilities :Field Responsibilities: Visit EPC companies, developers, contractors, and solar project sites. Generate leads and identify new solar project opportunities. Present company products, pricing, and value proposition to potential customers. Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and convert prospects into orders. Build and maintain strong relationships with project heads, procurement teams, and contractors. Track ongoing and upcoming ground-mounted solar projects and competitor activities. Submit daily/weekly field visit and lead reports. Office Responsibilities: Manage communication and documentation with major corporate clients including: Adani Solar, Vikram Solar, Loom Solar, Growatt Solar, Tata Power Solar, Waaree and other OEMs/EPC companies. Handle tender submissions, documentation, quotes, and pricing. Coordinate with internal teams (production, dispatch, accounts) for smooth order processing and execution. Maintain updated project pipeline, CRM records, and share weekly sales progress reports. Support field sales activities with enquiry tracking, follow-ups and lead nurturing. Represent the company in online meetings, vendor registrations, commercial approvals, and strategic partnerships. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Good understanding of solar industry supply chain, EPC structure, and project execution. Ability to travel across regions for client meetings and site visits. Ability to manage long sales cycles and handle corporate as well as field-level clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, formal email drafting, sales reporting, and CRM tools. Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related field preferred) Candidates with proven solar sales experience will be given priority.
