Job Title: Sales Associate Location: Ahmedabad Department: Sales & Business Development Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Head of Sales Experience Required: 2–5 years in building materials sales (cement, steel, formwork, etc.) About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Associate to join our growing team in the ABS formwork division. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling construction/building materials and a strong understanding of the contractor and civil engineering ecosystem. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with civil contractors, and driving sales of our innovative formwork solutions. Key Responsibilities:Identify and acquire new customers including civil contractors, builders, and construction companies. Develop a strong pipeline of sales leads through networking within the construction ecosystem. Understand customer project requirements and recommend appropriate formwork systems and solutions. Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and technical demonstrations to clients. Negotiate terms, close sales, and ensure timely payments. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals. Provide market insights, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to internal teams. Coordinate with internal logistics and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and support. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Key Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience in building materials industry (cement, steel, scaffolding, or formwork preferred). Education: Graduate in Civil Engineering, Business, or any related field. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction project cycles, site operations, and procurement processes. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory. Preferred Attributes:Existing network within the construction and civil contracting industry. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BOQs. Results-oriented with a hands-on approach to customer engagement. Team player with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
