Job Description

Job Title: Car Sales Executive

Department: Car Sales

Reports To: Sales Manager / Team Leader

Job Summary:

The Car Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional sales and after-sales service. The role involves achieving monthly sales targets, understanding customer needs, and promoting the dealership’s products and services effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom or contacting through calls/social media.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles, variants, and financing options.
  • Explain vehicle features, specifications, warranty, and after-sales services in detail.
  • Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle performance.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations, proforma invoices, and necessary documentation for booking and delivery.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all models, new launches, schemes, and competitors’ products.
  • Coordinate with the finance and insurance department for customer loan and insurance processing.
  • Follow up with customers on inquiries, bookings, and pending payments.
  • Ensure smooth delivery experience and timely vehicle handover.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships for referrals and repeat sales.
  • Update and maintain CRM records and daily sales reports.
  • Participate in marketing and promotional events organized by the dealership.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (Preferred: BBA, B.Com, or Automobile background)
  • Experience: 1–3 years in automobile retail sales (freshers with good communication can also apply)
  • License: Valid four-wheeler driving license

Performance Indicators (KPI):

  • Monthly sales target achievement
  • Customer satisfaction and feedback score
  • Lead conversion ratio
  • Referral and repeat business generation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
