This role demands hands-on expertise in managing Windows/Linux servers, hypervisors, UCS chassis, storage arrays, and backup tools (NetApp FAS2554, Commvault). Key Responsibilities: Perform daily health checks and log monitoring for all servers (rack, UCS, Hypervisor). Ensure 100% server uptime and take corrective actions proactively. Conduct BCP/DR drills quarterly between DC and NDR sites. Patch management for Windows/Linux, including testing and deploying security patches (CVE mitigation). Perform manual patching on systems outside the network or with endpoint issues. Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on patching and server status. Manage Storage Systems : RAID, LUN, zoning, health checks, space and security management. Oversee backup operations , test restorations, and ensure compliance with retention policies. Coordinate with OEMs/third-party vendors for patching, hardware support, and issue resolution. Use call logging systems for task updates and ticket resolution.
