Job Title: Salesman – School Uniform Retail Shop Location: Gauravdeep Apparels Private Limted Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Salesman to join our retail team at our school uniform shop . The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store displays, ensuring accurate billing, and providing an excellent shopping experience to students and parents. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and assist them in selecting the correct school uniforms, sizes, and accessories. Provide product information and recommendations based on school requirements and customer needs. Take accurate measurements for uniforms (shirts, trousers, skirts, blazers, etc.). Maintain an organized and appealing display of uniforms and accessories. Handle billing, cash, and digital payments accurately. Keep inventory records and inform the manager of low stock or fast-moving items. Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times. Handle customer inquiries, exchanges, and returns politely and efficiently. Coordinate with suppliers and tailors if custom fitting or alterations are required. Assist in seasonal stock counts and help prepare for school reopening rushes. Requirements: Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail sales (preferably in clothing or uniforms). Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of measurements and garment fitting. Customer service orientation and patience. Basic computer or POS (billing) system knowledge. Attention to detail and good organizational skills. Working Hours: 11:30 AM – 09:00 PM Overtime during school admission season may be required. Salary: Competitive salary based on experience. Benefits: Friendly and supportive work environment.
