Job Description

You are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the solar energy sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, especially in the solar industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and ensure the company's growth objectives are met. Your responsibilities will include managing, mentoring, and leading a team of solar energy sales representatives, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive networking and relationship building, as well as building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. You will collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives. Additionally, you will analyze sales data and trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations, prepare reports and presentations on sales performance and pipeline status, and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify growth opportunities. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Furthermore, you will lead the planning and execution of solar power projects from inception to completion, coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution, and manage project budget, including resource allocation, tracking expenses, and ensuring profitability. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) and a proven track record of successful sales management in the solar energy industry. Strong leadership and managerial skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are essential. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, a valid driver's license, willingness to travel as needed, and a solid understanding of project management methodologies are also required.
