Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for lead generation, technical sales, customer engagement, and project coordination for our full product range. The role involves both independent sales activities and collaborative work with the sales manager on project-based cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand instrument requirements, applications, operations, and software.
• Conduct technical discussions with customers across different departments.
• Generate leads and follow up until order execution.
• Promote products through extensive field visits and positive interactions.
• Analyze competitor products and maintain a strong technical hold.
• Independently close orders for regular items.
• Support project cases with the manager.
• Maintain rolling 3-month sales projections and track targets.
• Submit timely offers, proposals, and reports.
• Maintain prompt communication with clients via email/phone.

Qualifications:

• Education: BE/B.Tech (ECE, EIE, EEE) or B.Sc./M.Sc. (Microbiology).

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in instrumentation or the pharmaceutical industry.

Skills Required:

• Strong technical understanding of instruments and applications.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
• Competitor account targeting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
• Problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills.

Working Conditions:

• Travel across the assigned region (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala) by bus, train, or bike (within 100 km).
• May require travel with calibration kits.
• Flexible to work late nights or holidays based on client requirements.
