Field Service Engineer - Analytical Instruments (Pharma Industry)

Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Service Engineer with hands-on experience in analytical instruments used in pharmaceutical production environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calibration, installation and servicing of instruments at client locations, while also supporting project execution with senior engineers. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of pharma guidelines are essential. Key Responsibilities: Perform calibration of field instruments like NVPC, LPC, GIT, FIT, etc. Handle equipment installation, breakdown support, and assist senior engineers on projects. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations and GMP standards. Travel to various pharma client sites. Prepare documentation and reports using MS Office tools. Key Performance Expectations (KPIs) Independently conduct NVPC and VPC calibrations within 3 months. Understand the working principles of all our instruments within the first 3 months. Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharma industry regulations and guidelines. Working Conditions: Frequent travel via bus, train, or Bike within 100 KM radius. Carry and manage calibration kits during field visits. Flexibility to work on holidays or late hours based on client needs. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics or related field. 1-3 years of experience in calibration/service of analytical instruments (preferred) Strong technical and communication skills.
